Have you ever wondered why it was that Jesus called certain people to follow him?  Have you ever wondered whether some faithful people didn’t always answer when God called them?  The stories we hear today from the Gospel of Mark and from the minor prophet Jonah may help us with our own reflection… this may lead us to consider what the church, in general, and what this church, in particular, has represented to each of us.
