In 2016, Christmas Angels served 119 children on the Blue Hill Peninsula. The main purpose is to provide warm clothing to children in need but we also like to offer each child a book and stuffed animal. Our supply was greatly depleted last year, so the Outreach Board is sponsoring a Christmas in August book and stuffed animal drive. Books can range from infant to young adult and stuffed animals should be no larger than about 16 inches please. You can drop off donated items in the marked gray tubs in Fisher Hall, through the end of August.
Yet another option is to donate financially by writing a check to First Congregational Church of Blue Hill, with Christmas Angels in the memo, and either mail it to the Church or put it in the Treasurer’s mailbox next to the Church Office. Let’s make some wishes come true!
