In 2007, First Congregational Church of Blue Hill voted to be an Open and Affirming
congregation, part of our broader mission of inclusion that is expressed in our UCC core values
of: Continuing Testament, Changing Lives, and Extravagant Welcome.
The Open and Affirming Coalition of the United Church of Christ encourages ONA covenant
congregations to “recharge our batteries,” renewing and strengthening our commitment to
LGBTQ inclusion. Join the deacons after worship on Sunday, June 18th for a refresher on the
Open and Affirming movement and to brainstorm ideas for marketing,
