This Sunday, December 31st, we reflect on the ministry of John the Baptizer, on flood and fire and Johnstown, on rebuilding and rebirth. Join us at 10AM for worship, and come back in the evening as we host events for Blue Hill’s “Last Night” celebrations..

On Christmas Eve, December 24th, we will have two services.

10:00 am Family Christmas Eve Service with Brown Bag Pageant – Join us as we combine worship with a fun un-rehearsed and all-ages pageant.

8:00 pm Lessons and Carols – Our formal Christmas Eve service combines beautiful music and powerful readings.

Sunday, December 17th, we turn to the opening of the Gospel traditionally attributed to John.  Gary is preaching a sermon titled “Supernova,” and we will light our Fourth Advent Candle. Please join us at 10am as we continue our season of celebration.

On Sunday, December 10th, we celebrate Gaudete Sunday, the third “joy” Sunday of Advent. You are encouraged to wear pink. Gary’s sermon, on the last portion of second Isaiah, is titled “Out Standing in Our Field.”

This Sunday, we celebrate the second week of Advent, and come to the Lord’s Table in love. Gary’s sermon is titled “In the Bardo.”

This Sunday, November 26, we celebrate our entry into the Advent season by lighting the first Advent candle. (Volunteers for coming Sundays eagerly encouraged!) Derek van Bever will be our guest preacher, and we continue our reading of prophetic history with Jeremiah 29:1, 4-14, the “Letter to the Exiles.” Derek’s sermon is entitled “Hope in Exile.”
