Sunday Worship, April 18

We read from the Gospel of Luke this week, and remember the way that Jesus appeared to his disciples after his death.  What wonder!  What amazement there must have been!  What a challenge it can be to us to look to find Jesus now, and also to know how we can offer Jesus’ love to others.  The road to Emmaus was a turning point in the lives of the disciples and stands as a symbol for us now of the ways that our lives can be changed.  Welcome to worship on this winter-spring day!

Easter Sunday, April 4

On this glorious Easter weekend, we celebrate and we begin the work of resurrection– again and again.  Go and tell your friends!  The news is good!  God does not abandon us, but offers us renewed and revived life now, and the promise of life eternal!  Practice resurrection; it starts now!
